Kyndryl appoints José Manuel Paraíso as Country General Manager of Kyndryl Portugal

Kyndryl has recently appointed José Manuel Paraíso as Country General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kyndryl Portugal. This appointment is an important step in the creation of Kyndryl’s new global operating model, based on a simplification strategy with the clear ambition to bring experience and knowledge closer to its customers.

Kyndryl is the new independent public company that will be created following the separation of IBM’s Managed Infrastructure Services business, expected to occur by the end of 2021.

José Manuel Paraíso is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years career at IBM. Most recently he was the President of IBM Portugal, and prior to that José Manuel Paraíso held several leadership positions in Consulting and Technology Services. For three years, he was leading strategic business in the southern European markets as the Financial Services Sector Director for Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel and Turkey. In addition, he has been active in various national and international associative bodies.
